Why Battery Quotes Never Match the Invoice: CATL LFP, Tesla Powerwall, and Hidden Costs

The BMS, the enclosure, the inverter, the permits, the electrician's time—that's where the money goes. If a vendor says 'CATL Lifepo4 battery, cheap,' they're selling you a cell, not a system.

We didn't have a formal scope checklist for storage projects. It cost us when a vendor's quote didn't include a load center or a gateway.
